Year 11 students should be planning for the next stage beyond Year 11, whether this be Sixth Form, College, Apprenticeships etc.
It is now compulsory that your next step includes a continuing element of education. The Department of Education states that “Pupils starting Year 11 or below in September 2013 will need to continue in education or training until at least their 18th birthday. This could be through:

Ousedale School will hold the final of its ‘Musician of the Year’ competition on Tuesday, 10th February at Olney campus, commencing at 6.30pm. We are pleased to announce that Olney Brass will be supporting the event and will perform when the judges are adjudicating.
Tickets are available from the Finance Office at a price of £3.
Prior to the final, the first round of auditions will be held as follows:Tuesday 27th January - Olney campus - 3.10pm to 5pmWednesday 28th January - Newport Pagnell campus - 3.10 to 5pm
There are five categories: Strings, Woodwind, Brass, Vocal, Keyboard Instruments and Guitars.Two students from each section will perform in the final. Students should prepare a single piece no longer than three minutes in length. Vocal performances must be accompanied.
